The First Semester in Tarleton State University

Those questions are what I answer most of the time in the state. Basically, I will have those people come at the first week of semester. Most of them are new international students who just come to the U.S. Surprisingly, I have met a few students that came directly and threw long sentences of Chinese to me. I'm so sorry. I don't speak Chinese. However, I have no wonder because my grand father of my dad is a Chinese. Also, My great great grand father of my mom is a Chinese too. That means I have about 15% of Chinese. I guess.

Another most FAQ is why I come to study in TSU. I have to tell you a romantic story. My parents met each other and when my dad saw my mom the first time he asked his friend "Is that your mother?" That was so interesting, right? I do not understand at all how they can end up and having me. Anyway, they came to persur their master. My dad graduated in MBA and became a freelance programer. My mom graduated in master of education and became working in logistic field. Apparently, I'm doing MBA and I want to be a photographer. So, I do not understand about this either.

At the first month I felt like, having so much time to study. I registered for three classes or nine credits. I had one online and two face-to-face classes. My schedule was very flexible. Two classes that I had to go were at 6.30 PM on Tuesday and Thursday. Other than that I went to the Rec center every day and studied in the library.

After a month past, assignments kept me busy every day. I was struggle with research papers because I had never written any official paper in English before. I swear if I did not go to the writing lab I would failed the papers for sure. The last research paper I got grade 9.75/10. OMG, I took screenshots on my phone over 10 times lol. Also, I had really amazing classmates in the Project Management class. We created a fundraising project for a baptist chruch and we succeed. Accounting Management class was not that good. I barely understood anything from an old Taiwanese teacher. Students had so much hard time with him. Luckily, I got B from this class but some of my friends got C. After all the time I spent in the library, I got 2 As and a B. I was pretty happy from what I got, 3.67.

The second week of school, I applied to work with Grassburr, Yearbook, from a recommendation of my best friend, Brittany. I was so happy to work in the school as a photographer but felt struggle from the contract that I could not post any picture on my Facebook. At some point, I took a deep breath to talk with Student Publication department that I wanted to post pictures for a good cause of myself. They approved my request and that made me happy more than anything else.

The most important thing is I have many good friends in Stephenvill. We always have activities on Wednesday Night as you can see I have a page for it next to "About". I will be here fore three semesters more and I know I pick the right choice to come here.
