A week before when Carlos, the program coordinator of international department, asked me if I wanted to go to this trip. I was hesitating for a second because I was afraid there would be only a few international studenting going to this trip. It took me a minute but then I down. The day after that I started asking my friends if they were going. Surprisingly, they were all going to the trip, so I was super excited.

 

The trip began at 8.30 AM. Intl students came to check in and we left from the campus at 9 AM. I tried to stick with the group Tennis girls and Hyunjun. I was waiting with Ivana and Luiza to get into the van first. But by the university policy, the van took students over limit, so two of us have to go with Dr. Robitaille. Luiza and I volunteered for that.

 

We talked a lot in Dr. Robitaille's car, from local to political issues. After we ran out of topic Dr. Robitaille suggested to turn on music. I started music with easy listen like Jack Johnson but after a while Luiza asked to change the music to what she likes, Can't hold us. Dr. Robitaille and Luiza started dancing.

 

We arrived the Rodeo show around 11AM and we had two hours to hang around before the rodeo started. The amusement park is the target. We all bought 24 tickets except Ivana. She bought 48 tickets. She was so excited. We started from an easy ride, slider. Then we had been a couple rides before end up with Kamikaze. At the first round Ivana and I were not in the ride because I hate this kind of ride. It made my stomach felt bad. The first group was done. Marina and Ellie came to tell Ivana that it was not that bad and it was successful. Ivana and I got to the next ride. Ivana didnt open her eyes at all. In the end, we had a lot of tickets left, so we give to random kids around the area. Felt so good.We came back to a welcome room to take a rest. Ivana and Ellie got sick from 4 intense rides. They took aspirin as a result. 

 

Redeo started at 2PM and it was fun. I expected to see bulls more than horses but there were horses 85%. We left to Ridgmar Mall on 5PM and came back to Stephenville around 7.30PM. 

 

This trip was awesome and I'll look forward for the next one !!
